Ballet
This exciting program is being offered by the Houston International Ballet Academy. In these classes
students will learn the basic positions, steps and terminology in the classical art of Russian Vaganova Ballet.
We will offer the following classes in Pre-Ballet, and Ballet 1. Classes will start June 20, 2011.
Flag Football
The Parks Recreation Department is proud to announce the start of
the Summer Flag Football season. Flag Football will be offered to
boys and girls ages 6 -14. League play will begin May 21, and
extend through July 9, 2011.

Men's Flag Football League
The Men's Wednesday Night Flag Football League will be held at the Chester L. Davis Sportsplex
starting on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Team fee is $280. If you have a team you would like to

Spring Arts and Craft Show

The League City Parks Recreation Department would like to invite you to
celebrate the Spring season by attending our Arts and Craft Show. The activities
for the day will include arts and craft booths and plenty of food and beverages.
The show will be held at League Park on Saturday, April 9, 2011, from 9:00 am -

Egg Hunt

Come join the League City Parks Recreation Department, along with the Knights of Columbus #9310 for our Annual
Egg Hunt. The hunt begins promptly at 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 17, at the Chester L. Davis Sportsplex. This event is

The League City T he pool opens on May 28, at 1:00 pm, for A FREE WEEKEND!
League City Residents will swim free again this summer with the
purchase of a $10 swim pass. Passes can be purchased at the Parks
Swimming Pool Recreation Office with a copy of your current water bill or tax bill. Be
sure to bring proof of age for all children's passes purchased. Any child
under the age of ten will not be allowed entry unless accompanied by an
adult. Please note: League City Resident and Non-Resident swim passes
will be available at the Parks Recreation Office (200 North Park Avenue)
May 3 - May 27. After May 27, swim passes will need to be purchased at
the pool during open swim hours. Everyone will be charged daily
admission fees if they don't have their passes at the pool.
Passes: Residents: $10 per person
Non-Residents: $85 for a family of four
Additional $20 for each family member thereafter
Admission Fees without a pass: $2 for adults (Age 10 & up)
and $1.50 for children (Age 9 & under)
