Federica Pellegrini is an Italian swimmer,; borned on 5 of August 1988 in

Mirano, which is a province of Venice, and now lives in Verona.Her father,


Roberto, works in a hotel in Venice at present. Her mother is the secretary at
the swimming pool i, which is near Mestre. Her grandfather, Gastone, had
been a restling champion. Federica Pellegrini swam in Serenissima Nuoto,
which was her first club, and was trained by Elena Piatto. At present, she
swims for C.C. Aniene club, where she is trained by Gianni Nagni and Alberto
Castagnetti. Federica Pellegrini made her first Olympic championship in the
2004 and took silver medal for her second place in the 200 m freestyle
competition. She participated at the World Championships at Montreal in 2005
and won a silver medal in the 200 m freestyle competition. In the same year,
Federica Pellegrini won her first gold medal at the European Championships
in the 200 m freestyle in Trieste. The next year, Federica Pellegrini
participated in the World Championships in Shanghai and won a silver medal
for her excellent perofmance in the 200 m freestyle competition. She also won
a bronze medal in the 400 m freestyle at the same tournament. At the
European Championships , she finished second and won a silver medal in the
400 m freestyle .Federica Pellegrini added another silver medal to her medals
in 2007 when she finished second in the 400 m freestyle. She in 2008 in the
400 m freestyle , in which she did the world record in the women’s 400 m
freestyle with a time of 4:01.53. She also won a silver and bronze medal at
the same championships in 4 x 100 m freestyle and 4 x 200 m freestyle .Then
she won her first Olympic gold medal in the 400 m freestyle event in the 2008
