Impact of the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake

As of March 18 at 4 p.m. JST, the impact on J-POWER power generating facilities from the Tohoku Pacific
Earthquake which occurred on March 11 is as noted below.
Please note that J-POWER power generating facilities, as well as those of our subsidiaries (including wind
power generation facilities, thermal power plants of IPP(independent power producer) and plants supplying to
PPSs(power producers and suppliers), not listed below are operating normally.
As a major electricity wholesaler, J-POWER remains committed to ensuring the stable supply of electric
power.
