1. Introduction to concept of metrology and quality
2. Analysis of errors and uncertainties in measurement
3. Statistical quality control and use of control charts

6. Measurement of geometric shape (roundness, flatness, etc.)
7. Measurement of surface texture (surface roughness and waviness)
8. Measurement of screw threads
9. Measurement of gears
10. Limits and limit gauges
