What To Bring * Money for on-site fundraisers * Cooler with refreshments * Lawn chairs + Magazines or a good book * Snacks + Luminaria forms + Pillow and blanket/sleeping bag * Water bottle * Donations * Warm clothes (for night) + Sun shade + Signs to promote your team * Hat or visor * Tent and tent decorations + A great attitude, a rested body, * Sunglasses * Camera & film and a smile! * Sunscreen and bug spray * Lantern/flashlight(s) Release and Waiver of Liability The undersigned (Participant), in exchange for being permitted to participate inthe American Cancer Societys Relay For Life hereby, on behalf of Participant and Participant’ heirs, executors and administrators, releases, waives discharges and covenants not to sue the American Cancer Society, California Division, Inc-(ACS"), the owner ofthe site at which the event is taking place (the “Site Owner’, or any oftheir respective alates, directors, employees agents, contractors, volunteers, or other event personnel whether volunteers or paid staff (collectively the "Releasees") from any and all ibility claims, demands, damages, causes ‘of action, losses, or expenses (including attorneys fees and expenses) to Participant, on account of physical, mental, or emotional Injury. or death ofthe person of Participant orto the property of Participant, whether such injury or death be caused bythe negligence, _gr0ss negligence ofthe Releasees or otherwise, suffered ether during the event or while traveling to or from the event, Paticipant also ‘consents to the use by ACS of Participant's name and any photographic image taken of Participant ator in connection with the event, nd to the provision of such first aid a is deemed necessary tobe provided to Participant atthe event prior to being transported toa hospital for further treatment ‘Notwithstanding any ther provision af this Release and Waiver of Liability (tis "Release, Participant releases ACS and the Site Owner, but no other Release, from an ability whatsoever arising fom any injury, damage or death to Participant where sai injury, damage, or death isthe result of or arises from any intentional or criminal conduct upon the par of an ACS oe Site Owner employee, agent or ‘vlutet Participant hereby assumes ll sponsibility fr and risk of body injury to or death of Participant due othe negligence or gross negligence of Releases and also releases ACS and the Site Owner but no other Release from any anal ibility fr the Intentional or eriminal ats ofits volunteers, agents, and/or employees while Participant participates in or travels to and from the even.
