Village(II)
Galatescu Dimitri's work 'Snow Roads. Records' interests the history of culture in
Bukovina, in particular, in Chapter I, the only attempt so far at monographing the
village of Ostrita , remained outside the state borders of Romania, through the
implementation of the addictional acts of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, on August
23, 1939.
Great wealth of information offered here for interested users, the local history,

livestock, domestic industries, traditional cuisine, local clothes, and family values
formerly cultivated in this settlement from Bucovina, traditions and customs related
