Abstract

Purpose; The major purpose of this research was to analyze that the inhabitants of rural
areas of Sargodha should adopt bio gas industry or not? and was to determine its outcomes in
monetary term as well as others.

Methodology; Data were collected from rural areas of Sargodha using five point likert
scale.Cronbatch alpha, Correlation analysis, and Regression analysis was performed to check
reliability of scale, study the relationship between dependent(bio gas) and
independent( revenue ,facilitation) variables and study the hypothesis respectively.

Finding; The statiscal analysis shows that there is a positive and significant relationship
between dependent( bio gas) and independent variables( facilitation revenue). Further it is
found that it is providing smart facilities for residential as awell as agriculture purpose and
earning a least amount of revenue.

Practical Implications; This empirical investigation shows the need of installation of bio gas
plant in the rural areas of inhabitants of Sargodha. This industry not only provide a bulk benefits
to different homes but also is the cheapest source of energy and very useful for agriculture
purpose.

Originality/ Value; To the best of researcher’s knowledge this research is first of its kind in
rural areas of Sargodha related to this industry.
