PROBLEM STATEMENT:

In the present situation it is observed that the results provided by JNTU website
gives result of a particular semester where a student need to wait till the results are
displayed by the College/Institute. With this it is observed that there is a delay in getting
the Student’s results. Even if a Parent/known person wants to see their ward’s results then
they have to enter Student’s H.T.No., this is not always possible to have such details.
Apart from this the results provided will be only of the most recently appeared semester
examination.

EXISTING SYSTEM:

The present system provides only results of Student of the specified semester &
need to wait till the results are displayed on Notice Board of the College/Institute or till
Student receives memo from the University. This system is an Offline procedure for a
Student/Parent & do not have direct communication with College/Institute to get the
results.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

The proposed online system provides the simplicity such as taking input details
like Student’s Name & Branch. With such simplicity it provides flexibility for a person to
get results of the Student, who don’t know the details like Student’s H.T.No. This system
will also provide an extension of viewing the examination results of the student from the
beginning of Student’s Course till the most recently appeared examination.

 Operating System – Windows XP
 IDE – Net Beans
 Web Server - Apache Tomcat
 Database - Oracle
