Kes and Advisors II Risva, SKM, M. Kes. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) 2005 Malaria remains a majorhealth problem in 107 countries around the world. Malaria is a major public healthproblem in Southeast Asia. Prevalence in East Kalimantan in 2009 amounted to 14 067patients with malaria. Prevalence in the District Malaria Paser of 2009 patients by2418. While the prevalence of Public Health Center Long Ikis year 2009 amounted to615 cases of malaria sufferers. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of knowledge, attitude andaction on malaria incidence in the W ork Area Health Center Long Ikis District Paser in 2010. The study was case-control and the number of samples in this study 102 respondents. Data analysis was done using univariate, bivariate analysiswith Chi -Square test with = 0.05. The results showed that there is a correlation between knowledge of malaria incidence(p = 0.0 00), and there is a correlation between attitudes (p = 0.041) and action (p =0.000) on the incidence of malaria in the Work Area Health Center Long Ikis District Paser in 2010 . For health workers are advised to further enhance the knowledge, attitudes, communityaction against malaria through counseling media such as counseling, the activation ofcadres of malaria to places not reached by officers and improving environmental hygiene on a regular basis with mutual cooperation.
