The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of students' attitudes and level of intelligence of students towards learning mathematics achievement in the second semester class X SMA Negeri 5 Tegal Lessons Year 2010/2011. The population in this study is the second semester class X SMA Negeri 5 Tegal Lessons Year 2010/2011 as many as 244 students are divided into 7 classes. Cluster sampling technique Random Sampling. Samples taken in this study were 71 students that is derived from a class, X-2 and X-5. Data collection methods used are the methods of documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using simple linear regression test and multiple linear regression test, previously tested with test data Liliefors and Bartlet test to determine normality and homogeneity of data. The results show that, there is significant influence between students' attitudes and level of intelligence of students towards learning mathematics achievement in the second semester class X SMA Negeri 5 Tegal Lessons Year 2010/2011. Suggestions in this research that mathematics teachers should be able to grow a happy attitude towards matemaika lessons, and students to more positive attitudes towards mathematics and other subjects, as well as for the parents should always observe the attitude of children's learning.
