General Objective:

The primary objective of this study is to help speed up application loading by means of cleaning or removing broken links or invalid entries on the systems registry.

Specific Objectives:

The following were the goals that the software intended to accomplish in able to achieve the general objective of the proposed project: 1. To eliminate registry entries that is not needed by the system. 2. To eliminate errors in the registry.
3. To scan and remove empty or broken registry entries.

iv

4. To prevent clogging up of entries in the registry.

5. To help the users maximize the computers performance.

Assumption of the Study:

The proponents expected that the proposed project was useful in helping the computer moderators in maintaining the performance level of the computers. The proposed project also helped in removing unwanted or invalid registry entries that the system does not need. This contributed assistance or made registry tweaking easy for inexperienced users.

Research Design:

In order to develop a good software, the proponents conducted an approach which included gathering of data, determining programming language and designing paradigm to be used. The model used by the proponents was the Prototyping paradigm. The software has also been evaluated using the Alpha and Beta testing.

Conclusion:

The proponents created software for the computer administrators that maintained computer performances, and for students that needed proper tools

for maintaining system performance and preventing activity interruptions caused by computer performance-related problems. The proponents proposed an application software which was a utility tool that aimed to remove empty, broken and unwanted entries from the systems registry.
