ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF HEALTH BELIEF MODEL IN ADVANCED STAGE OF CURED CERVICAL CANCER PATIENTS BEHAVIOR AT GYNECOLOGY WARD RSUD

DR SOETOMO Descriptive Analytic By Kartika Nurhayati Cervical cancer is one of the most diseases that cause the highest death among women. The averages of cured patients are advanced stage and it has lower survival opportunity rate than early stage. However, the average patients keep carry on treatment. The aims of this study to analyze the health belief model in advanced stage of cured cervical cancer patients behavior at treatment in Gynecology ward RSUD Dr Soetomo. The design was descriptive analytic. Samples were 19 respondents whom advanced stage of cervical cancer and carrying treatment. Sample was chose by purposive sampling. Data collected by close and open ended questioner. Data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive. The result show that, the majorities respondent had characteristic for about 26% were between 40 and 45 years old, elementary school for 42%, Islam for 95%, married for 68%, 58% werent working or as house wife, 63% household income was below one million, and 63% had high knowledge about cervical cancer. The majorities health belief model respondent show that, moderate perceived susceptibility for 90%, moderate perceived severity for 84%, big perceived benefit for 100%, low perceived barrier for 74%, get of cues to action for 100%, and 44,12% had adequate self efficacy. In conclusions, all of variable in health belief model had affected each other, so it can move the patients to continue the treatment. It was recommended to develop study in quantitative design about the effect of type cues to action toward motivation level among advanced stage cervical cancer patients.
