Trust and Reputation in Collaborative Networking: A survey

Manish Gupta, Eunice Swarna Kujur, Ashish Kumar, Tulika* Department of CS & IT, SHIATS, Allahabad Abstract Collaborative network is a network of different computing devices that are interconnected through different networks. Examples of collaborative network virtual meetings, chat rooms and distance learning environments. Any system in collaborative network can offer content and services to the other system user. However, this open accessibility causes various vulnerabilities in system. In this paper, we have discussed trust and reputation system in order to prevent this. This paper also emphasis on various security issues and vulnerabilities present on collaborative network. Finally, the paper explores few important measures and a comparative study of them.
