CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER
1. Dominic Savio was born on 2nd April 1842.
2. Seven years later he received Holy Communion
3. 1852 Dominic Savio attended school at Castelnuovo
4. In the same year they changed their house back to Mondonio
5. 1854 Dominic Savio arrived in the Oratory of Don Bosco
6. In December of the same year Pope Pius IXth defined the dogma of the
Immaculate Conception.
7. Two years later on 8th December Dominic Savio founded the “Company of
the Immaculate”
8. Fell ill in March 1857
9. Went to receive his heavenly reward on 9th March 1857
10. Dominic Savio was beatified in 1950 by Venerable Pope Pius XII
11. He was canonized on 12 June 1954 by Venerable Pope Pius XII

Reluctantly Dominic Savio bid ‘Good bye’ to Don Bosco, “Father” he told him “I
am going home but death will overtake me. What can I do for the Lord? “Offer
him your soul” Don Bosco replied “Offer him your self.” “That is already done”
