by Poetic Tee (Here, take a sip) Masjid Al-Haram's charismatic aura covers Another fasting day as it draws twilight Many go awalk with slow reserved vigor Yet deterred, no, not a single soul to see The atmosphere, scorching hot, intimidatin' Even for an evening, the sun pours on justly Hand in hand we venture forth for succor Though elusive tries to define it our quest But search on for True, Grace and Mercy In a 2-piece regal white as spotless snow If found? Moments sublime full of bliss It is within reach, in our minds we believe Unrelenting we strove on, faintly detecting it Flirting in a wift through the heat-born air Then its soothing coolness caresses our feel Yes, "A man gets only what he strives for" A Saumer seeks for bounties riches unquantified Offering to one with none, one date or a cup full "Shukran", obvious another or 2 needs it mo' So "Love thy brother mo', for thy soul's good" Zamzam and dates, juicy fruits and breads Only two words are active; divide and share The rich gladly accept from the poor the needy A man alone fills with love, get companionship Sahu suhufakum "Allaahu Akbar..."
