passed is the V2 and V3 of the verb to pass.


He passed his exam with 85% and so his father gave him a bike. If you had passed the ball to me, I could have scored!

past can be
a preposition - She goes past my house every day. Ill speak to her tomorrow! a noun - the past = what happened before now an adjective - before now Lets forget about our past troubles and look towards the future.
