Police searching for missing endangered woman Updated: Missing woman found safe
Howard County police are asking for the publics help in the search for an endangered 28-year-old woman from Ellicott City. Stephanie Lindsey, of the 8900 block of Chapel Avenue, was last seen around 12:45 p.m. today leaving her residence. Police believe she may be a danger to herself. A roommate of Lindseys called 911 to report that she had just fled the residence in a 2005, two-door, royal blue Honda Accord, with Maryland tags LMP-322. The roommate reported to police that Lindsey may try to harm herself. Efforts to locate Lindsey this afternoon have been unsuccessful. Police are concerned for her safety. Lindsey is described as a black female, who is 51 tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She has a tattoo on her upper right arm that says Wanda. Friends could not describe what she was wearing when she left home. Investigators are urging anyone with information about Lindsey to call 911. UPDATED 11 p.m. Stephanie Lindsey, who was reported as an endangered missing person earlier today, was located in good condition when she returned to her residence in Ellicott City this evening. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation. ### Editors note: Photos of Lindsey and a car similar to the one she was last seen driving are attached.
