I have been teaching Science for about seven years in school.

Teaching in a Science Laboratory is not easy because sometimes teachers have difficulties in carrying out a lesson due to lack of Teaching Resources or Teaching Aids. The apparatus and chemicals for carrying out a practical are not equipped sometimes, due to lack of budget from the school or is not supply by supplier. Some supplier might supply us with low quality apparatus or chemicals for e.g.. circuit board, labo gas and etc. Teaching in this Twenty First Century especially the SPN21, all Science Laboratory should be equipped with internet access, projector, interactive white board and etc.

2) The above Laboratory arrangement is design for doing experiments. This laboratory should be connected to a special room which is computerised (students can enter their results or data into the computer immediately)

3) The laboratory is also equipped with build in projector so that teacher can guide the students on the procedures and results on the screen.

4) The computers in the special room can also be used to access the internet to find information and also to upload information into the students blog or LMS as soon as they have done their experiments. The internet access is high speed by using fibre optic instead of cable.

5) The laboratory should have a sophisticated alarm system. This alarm will be activated automatically if the sensors sense any unsafe condition in the laboratory.

6)The laboratory should be equipped with proper disposal of waste and used chemicals. This means the laboratory should have a sophisticated bins that can destroy harmful waste chemicals.
