Installation Instructions

FITTING :

High Technology Tuning Product

The VTC-20 must keep in a cool and dry location. Mount the VTC with double sided tape after adjustment. It is suggest that the installer use the circuit tester to locate the proper wire connections. Wire Code : RED BLACK VIOLET WHITE GREY ** GREEN
IMPORTANT: * The VTC-20[P] or VTC-20[N] unit was designed to activate either POSITIVE [+] or NEGATVE [-] wire connection of the VTEC solenoid valves. Ensure to use the correct VTC type and locate correct wire connection to the VTEC solenoid valve. As wrong type of VTCs signal would be send back to ECU and possible fry it.

All have to do is to observe the VTC LED ON that corresponds with the engine speed [rpm]- this is to indicate that the VTEC has engaged. It only needed to turn the [RPM] trimmer towards [-] or [+] a little bit (0.5mm) at a time to get the desire VTEC engagement point (i.e. 3000rpm, 4500rpm, 5000rpm & etc.) NOTE:* Do not set the rpm too low, loss of bottom-end horsepower will occurred or the VTEC system has not enough engine oil pressure to ease its valve mechanism.
WARNING: Do not connect the VTC to any unsuitable wiring system. Wrong wiring or loose connection may cause irreversible damage to the VTC circuit.
