Abstract
This study investigates the relationships between work relationships (coworkers and
supervisory relationships) and employees job commitment and job related wellbeing. The
study was conducted on 159 workers working at a factory for canned food. The sample
consisted of 135 male and 24 female with average age and experience equal to (32 years, 2
years respectively). The study used four scales translated form English to Arabic. The leaneir
and hierarchal regression results indicated that high quality of work relationships have
positive relationships with employees wellbeing and job commitment. The study has
important implications at theoretical and practical levels. The present study calls the Arabic
31
administrations (private and public) to pay attention to relationships at the workplace as they
are determinant of many individual and organizational outcomes.
Key words: job relationships, employees wellbeing, job commitment, job design.
