The first plane in the group was also named the Green Hornet that prefor med yeoman duties for the squadron. Bombers in this group Included Rodney on th e Rocks, Easy Movements, Miss B Haven, Shirley B, Vermont Maid, Happy Warrior w hich was shot down on one of it's missions, Ramblin Reck among others. This unit was based at Sudbury England and was part of the 486th Bomb group of the 3rd Ai r Division of the 8th Airforce U.S. Army Airforce England.
