is it diferrent beetwen e173 and e173eu-1, because in the package this modem is huawei e173. maybe do you have another firmware?

I followed all the steps and it worked but now the data card wont show 3G networks, only 2G
which connection you are using ? and you sim is 3g ready ??
Now i have to use GSM because its the only conection the data card shows, but before i did these steps you mentioned i could connect using the WCDMA and

I have already done that. Doesnt work. When i do that the data card simply doesnt show any network available When i try try finding . networks available manually it only shows 2G networks but my cell phone shows me that there are 3.5 networks available when the data card simply wont

I can connect to meteor but I cant access to internet anymore =( any idea my apn is broadband .mymeteor.ie and no id,pass.. when I connect to any website I will connect to meteor website.

Hi Jigal I have locked E173-s2. Is it compatible with this unlocking article? Also, the firmware is v.21.017.09.000.00 match newer then 11.126.xxx in this article. Can I unlock the modem?

I had a software named as E155XUpdate_11.608.14.15.311.B418 while using it for unlocking idea net setter my current version of net setter is 11.608.14.15.356 and version of software is 11.608.14.15.311. While i am pressing next it ll ask me to enter password so what can I do?

please help me!!!!!! My E173 can not update successfully while its downloading the . , device has been removed and it show error message Update Failure.

during the firmware installation ,no flash code or unlock code was asked .my modem is still locked.what else can i do please
dude after firmware installationit will ask just open you dashboardwith inserting other sim in your modem you will ask unlock code

Hi jigar I have E1150 Idea netsetter its version is 11.609.20.03.356 When I upgrade it i has an error the wireless terminal inserted is not E155X,update wizard cant work on. what should i do to solve this problem

does it work for E173 U-1? My modem is E173 U-1, its a bundling modem from one of SIMCARD provider in my country.

Hi mr. jigar!! I have unlocked idea and using tata docomo card but i can not find any kind of 3G speed. I am getting on an avg. 125kbps speed. So is there any other setting which i have to apply in net setter software or is there any other company card prefer by you? Please help. Thanks in advance.

thank you for sharing with us your findings. I bought a safaricom E173u-1 modem and tried different methods to unlock it but failed. However I have managed to get it temporally unlocked by using the Huawei Modem Unlocker v.5.7.7 by bojs right now i am able to use a non- safaricom simcard and all is working well. Please note that this is a temporally unlock solution so when you unplug the modem, you have to repeat the procedure. Keep up the good work Jigar Patel!!

i dont know why my e173 is unable to unlock even after i have followed the tutorial.anything more i should know about ?
