List down the qualities of a good teacher as found in the text A good teacher builds student s self-esteem by using praise generously and avoiding ridicule and negative public criticism and gets to know each student s needs, A good teacher interest and special talents, as well as the way each child learns best. Teacher have communications often and openly with parents, contacting them early on about academic or behavioral problems and being candid rather than defensive when discussing these problems. A good teacher also regularly assigns homework that helps children learn, and advises parents how they can work with their children on this homework. Teacher would s6t high academic standards, expecting all students to learn and helping them to do so.

The Qualities of a Good Teacher

A good teacher should have a great deal of patience and know that little steps in learning go a long way. Besides that, all teachers should understand your students, you know what motivates them and you know how to scaffold activities to ensure that maximum learning occurs. In additions, a good teacher should are very comfortable working with exceptional learners and learners with diverse needs. Furthermore, as a good teacher must thrive on challenge, can easily build relationships with your students and your student's parents. A teacher must have a life-long learner and committed to the profession. He or she must have a never ending willingness to ensure that all students reach their maximum potential. Finally, a good teacher must constantly strive to 'reach and teach' every student under your care.
