4. The Chief Examiner is given the authority to reshuffle gradefyear level assignment of room, examiners seeing to it that no room examiner is assigned to a room where his/her pupils/students are taking the test. He/she may designate some coaches to help the room examiners check the test papers of the contestants immediately after the conduct of the written test. 5. The first, second and third best teams in every ESA will participate in the Division Finals on February 10, 2O11(elementary) and February 11, 2011 (secondary). Mechanics 1. The ESA elimination is a team competition. Members of every team from the district must come from the same school and the same grade/ year level. 2. Typ" of test is written. Test papers are provided by the school in the school level elimination; by the district level elimination and by MTAP and Metrobank in the ESA Level eliminations and Division Finals. 3. Each district will send a maximum of one team per grade level to the ESA level eliminations. Each team will have three members. Ties during the district level eliminations in elementary level should be broken or resolved by the district chief examiner because test materials for the ESA level eliminations are limited to one team per grade level per district. 4. Secondary schools will directly participate in the ESA Level eliminations. 5. Scores of the top two members in every school team grade/year level wili be added to form the school team score. 6. The test Papers for the ESA level eliminations will be distributed to the test coordinators/chief examiners at the Division Office a day before the ESA Level eliminations. 7. The test Papers will be corrected immediately by the committee of Checkers created by the Chief Examiner using the answer key provided by MTAp. Each correct answer is given one point. 8. Chief Examiners shall submit results of the test by grade/year level to the Division Office on or before January 30,2011. 9. Guidelines and mechanics for the Division Finals will be issued later.
