This document explains to you the steps which are to be completed in making a radio frequency jamming device which

is used to block or jam the GSM (Global System for mobile communication (cellular phone technology)) frequencies that are operating in the country of Sri Lanka. Research is to be done to find out what the major GSM carriers in Sri Lanka are and what frequencies that they are currently operating in. Then some more research is to be done as to which frequencies of the carrier is to be blocked. This is particularly important as most carriers operate in two frequencies and in some cases three. So these steps will be the most important as they will provide the basis for the projects development and if this research isnt done correctly incorrect frequencies will be jammed making the end product a failure. Once the carriers and their operating frequencies are identified the techniques used to jam the signal can be selected. There are many methods of jamming a radio signal out of which an appropriate method is to be selected. Reasearch has to be done on each of the methods so that the best method for the job can be selected. After this is done the actual circuit can be designed and implemented.
