Yet, a picture could possibly be more than just a representation of appearance. Subjectivity and reflexivity are primal instincts to an artist or designer. Yet, our society has put believed onto objective methods in problem solving rather than using reflexive method, which is suspect unreliable subjective. For drawing which is beings and also drawing is an act, a counter act, a process to create imagery from minds or feelings, it is a way of being-in-the-world. That process is drawing as an intuitive means of discovering, exploring and researching, learning, managing, and designing to disclose drawings appears as a work of art by itself and not merely a representation per se.
