Domestic trade
In the first half year of 2008, the total
sales of wholesale and retail trade entities
was 519.8 bln. togrogs (at current prices) and
it was increased by 197.9 bln. togrogs or
61.5 percent compared with same period of
previous year. The total sales hs been
influenced by the all types of fuel, petroleum
products import growth which is 84.8 percent.
The total sales comprises 54.7 percent
wholesale and 45.3 percent retail trade. The
share of wholesale to the total sales was
increased by 3.2 point compared with same
period of previous year.
