FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE VERITAS WORLDWIDE SOLUTIONS DISAVOWS INVOVLEMENT WITH ALLEGED SMUGGLING ATTEMPT OF SAADI GADDAFFI December

8, 2011 San Diego, California It has recently been reported that various individuals were involved in a purported attempt to smuggle the son of the late Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, Saadi Gaddaffi, into Mexico. VERITAS WORLDWIDE SOLUTIONS, LLC (VERITAS) has received inquiries regarding the incident from news agencies throughout the world as to whether or not VERITAS had any involvement with the Gaddaffi smuggling attempt. VERITAS HAD NO INVOLVEMENT WITH THE ALLEGED SMUGGLING OPERATION OF SAADI GADAFFI. VERITAS takes this allegation seriously and is conducting an internal investigation into why our company is being associated with this situation and whether or not any of our personnel were involved. If VERITAS determines that any of our personnel are found to have had any involvement with this operation, they will be terminated on the spot. VERITAS does not condone any acts conducted by any individual to assist the son of the late Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi in escaping the arms of justice. Additionally, while Chula Vista Chief of Police David Bejarano was at one time projected to provide consulting services to VERITAS in its federal/state law enforcement training aspects of our business, he is no longer working with VERITAS. In fact, other than agreeing to provide consulting services on law enforcement training contracts, Chief Bejarano never had the opportunity to provide such services.
