The logo is based on the UK House of Commons emblem with the chains, portcullis & crown but combined

with the centre of a speaker. Designed in 1992 by Marc Woodhouse. Last iconic logo to be designed without a computer. This will be the last famous logo which has an original piece of artwork from which all versions were spawned. Techniques involved include: acetate, bromides, rubylyth, rotring ink, French curves, ellipse guides, wedge eliminator, process white and cow gum. Marc designed Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto logo a few weeks later and by then the computer had taken over.
