Kate Jensen is a reporter of The Daily Echo and she has to find out who committed the crime

on Kawaguchi-sensei. Another death quickly follows and she has to find out whats going on, so she can write an article about it. She asks her dead if he knows the name Kawaguchi and he says that he has newspaper cuttings from the London Road case: a murder that happened thirty years ago. A man and a woman were riding in a car and let a man in that hitched a lift. After a few miles the man took his gun and killed the man. The girl, called Naoko Kawaguchi, got out of the car and run away, but she was shot three times in her back. Incredibly, she survived. When she was asked to identify the murderer she picked out an innocent man, Brendan Murphy. Brendan was hanged for the murder. Naoko was the daughter of Kawaguchisensei. Kate Jensen thinks that this story has to do with the two deaths. She talks to a lot of people that know something about the story. Finally she finds out that Naoko has got a daughter who is really good at karate (the murderer of the two who died must be good at karate, because he/she was able to kill somebody with just one punch). She even finds out that Brendan was Naokos lover. Naoko was pregnant of him. Kate Jensen has a very smart plan to find out who the murderer of the two is. She lets her father write an article about the London Road case. He must say that he first believed the man who was hanged for the murder was innocent, but he now believes he wasnt. Kate Jensen thinks the killer of Kawaguchi-sensei and the other death one will come to them when he/she reads it. Kate Jensen is right. After a while she comes to them and Kate Jensen and another man whos good at karate attack the woman and tie her up. When the woman wakes up she tells the whole story: Naoko (the womans mother) picked out the wrong guy, because she was confused and her father pushed her. The woman was born just after the man was hanged, so she never had a father (earlier in this summary I told that Naoko was pregnant of Brendan). Over the years she got angrier. When she heard Kawaguchi-sensei pushed Naoko she got so angry that she killed him. After that she killed the other man, because he knew too much (Kawaguchi-sensei told him everything). Kate Jensen writes a really great article about it and her father is very proud at her.
