    I have been an ardent conservationist for most of my adult life, and am dismayed when I see what a battle is still to be fought to save our precious Earth from being plundered and looted. For those interested in poetic structure, this is an octogram, this form was invented by Sally Yocorn of fanstory.com. It consists of two, eight-line verses, with a syllable count each of 8-4-8-4-8-8-8-4. The rhyming pattern is aBabccbB and ababddbB, where lines 2, 8 and 16 are essentially the same (B).

    newborn seed, No oak tree grand. Two hundred and fifty years now, And yet you still cannot see how You trespass in the ravens land ~ Please understand!
