MISSION

IFFCO's mission is "to enable Indian farmers to prosper through timely supply of reliable, high quality agricultural inputs and services in an environmentally sustainable manner and to undertake other activitities to improve their welfare"

APPROACH
To achieve this mission IFFCO as a co-operaive society. Undertakes several activities covering a board spectrum of areas to promote the welfare of member cooperatives and farmers.

OBJECTIVES
(A) The objects of IFFCO shall be to promote the economic interest of its members by conducting its affairs in proffetional, democratic and autonomos manner through self help and mual co-operation for undertaking manufacture /production/dvelopmant of chemical and hydrocarbon. (B) In furtherance of above objects IFFCO may undertake one or more of the following activities which are indicative but not limited to.... To set up plants for manufacture of chemical fertilizers and allief products/bye-products. To undertake production processing and manufacture of insecticides, pesticides seeds agricultural machinery and implements and other agricultural production revisits by setting up or taking on lease manufacturing units either directly or in collaboration with or as a joint venture with other c-operative institution/ public sector enterprice or any other agency.

To set up storage units for storing fertilizers and other goo by itself or in collaborations with any other co-operative institution or any other agency.

To subscribe to the shares of co-operative and other institutions. To provide technical consultancy and other services to member societies and other agencies.

To acquire, take an lease or hire land, buildings, fixtures and vehicles and to sell, give on lease or hire them for the business for IFFCO.
