Subject: MEMORANDUM: REPLY REGARDING THE LOE FOR ABSENCE FROM OFFICE Reference: No:2/3/2009-Admn dated: 21.03.2012 Dear, This is with reference to the memorandum issued from your office, it is stated that Regional Passport Office ,Sialkot had been facing sheer difficulties due to unavailability of space for accommodating the ever increasing customer turn out which often led to inconvenience and stampede. As a result, the crowd usually became intolerant and furious and often manhandle our employees triggering round of police and media complaints. This state of affairs is inflicting bad name to the department and has questioned our quality of service. Keeping in view , I put concerted efforts to find a suitable building and recommended one for acquisition to the headquarter but before it was visited the owner of the building declined to undergo an agreement due to some unforeseen reasons. To cut a long story short, the day HQR team was supposed to visit, I was out of office looking for the alternate buildings and had been evaluating various options with the local property consultants. In fact, the anticipated visit by the HQR team was long awaited by me and it is really regretted that the coordination could not be made although I could be reached at my cell number. However, I apologize for the inconvenience faced by the HQR team and would request your support for finalization of an alternate building for Sialkot office on war footing basis.
