Class Activities This Week: Warm-Up Material: Concert Bb Mini-Scale, Concert F Mini-Scale Wednesday: Review #17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, Holiday Sampler Friday: Long Note Contest, Concert F Mini-Scale, Holiday Sampler, m. 13-21 Monday: Concert F Mini-Scale, #29, 30, 31 Tuesday: Concert F Mini-Scale, Holiday Sampler, , m. 13-21 Performance Objectives: Learn the notes for the F Mini-Scale; Reinforce correct tone quality & articulation Assessment Methods: Section Playing Tests, Individual Playing Tests, Achievements Written Assignment: Ledger Lines- lines added above and below the staff to extend its range 1. Using the first staff as a reference, practice naming the notes on the second staff (answer for both clefs). Write your treble clef answers above the notes & the bass clef answers below the notes.

Practice minutes should be spread across at least 5 days. Daily practice is significantly more effective than sporadic practice. The number of practice minutes you log will be used as a bonus to your playing test scores. 1 bonus point for every 30 minutes logged
