1. Ref #114105 - Purchase & Access Eligibilities Requirement A requirement has arisen for a system where the purchase of particular items can be limited, and access given to areas based upon certain criteria. Proposal The proposal is to extend the ACM (Access Control Management) Configuration application which already has the ability to specify restrictions on access to specific behaviours allocated to a member based on; Products purchased Agreement and Price Member Demographics This will be extended by a fourth criterion; Purchase & Access Eligibility FOH will also be amended to limit which items can be purchased by a member, and assign certain eligibilities on a member by member basis. Configuration ACM The inventory access tab has been split into two separate sections; Abilities Gained By Purchase Abilities Required For Purchase These two new sections need behaviours assigning to them, much like the other areas of ACM. The behaviours need to be linked to a specific inventory item at the desired location. The first step is to create the two behaviours needed, starting with the Abilities required for Purchase this is an eligibility behaviour that a member must have before they can purchase the inventory item. To create the behaviour, navigate to Configure Behaviours from the main menu. From the Behaviour Types tree structure open Generic Item properties > expand Member properties > P&A Eligibilities. Inside the P&A Eligibilities create the behaviour by clicking Add Behaviour from the menu in the centre. Give the behaviour a relevant name

and description and any other settings if relevant, once the form is complete click Update to create the behaviour. The second behaviour needed is the normal access control behaviour - this should be created in the same way but under Access Control > Inventory Based Access Token. Create a new behaviour at this level the same way as before, giving the behaviour a name and a description. The next step is to assign the behaviours to the relevant inventory item, so navigate back to the Inventory Access tab from the main menu and find the inventory item from the tree structure. Firstly assign the Abilities Required for Purchase behaviour by clicking Configure Behaviours, shown in Fig 1.1 below, where the P&A Eligibilities behaviour has been configured.

Fig 1.1 Upon clicking Update the behaviour will be added, repeat the same process with the Abilities Gained by Purchase by clicking Configure Behaviours and navigate to the behaviour that was created under the Access Control section, making sure to give the behaviour the correct value and valid for time. This process needs to be repeated for all inventory items that require eligibility before purchase. It is possible to create multiple P&A eligibility and access behaviours and use them to associate different access levels to different members. The final stage is to assign the created behaviours against a location and gate so the members will be able to use their access behaviour. See Fig 1.2 below for how the Inventory Access screen may look after assigning the behaviours.

Fig 1.2 The final stage is to set up the Access band against the required gate, ensuring that the correct access behaviour is applied against the gate. Note: ACM must be configured with the gates and FOH to ensure the process functions correctly. For more information on using ACM please contact your Legend Account Manager or the Legend Support Team. How to Use Once the Purchase & Access eligibility behaviours are configured the feature is ready to use, providing the security token, FOH_CAN_CONFIG_MEMBER_P_A_ELIGIBILITY, is assigned. At this point some inventory items will require a Purchase & Access behaviour to be assigned to a member before they can purchase said item. To assign a Purchase & Access Behaviour to a member search for the required member in FOH and from the passport window select Member Info. The Member Info screen has a new tab, shown by the icon to the left in Fig 1.3. This area is where all P&A Eligibility behaviours will be listed against a member; they can also be added and removed from a member through this screen. The screen shot, Fig 1.4, shows the option to add a purchase and access eligibility behaviour against a member. Just simply click the tick box to assign/un-assign the behaviour.

Fig 1.4

A member will now be able to purchase the inventory item that this P&A eligibility behaviour is needed for and hence will get the rights to access through the relevant gates. If a member attempts to purchase an item that requires an P&A eligibility behaviour, and the member doesnt have that behaviour, FOH will show the error below.

2. Ref #114101 Sales Contact & Schedule form changes Requirement A requirement has been raised to lock certain fields on a Contact or Schedule form in the Sales application, and also to remove the timeless option from scheduling activities in the application. This is to help with the control of collecting data against prospects, trying to ensure the data is as valid as it can be. Proposal The proposal is to add a new tab in the Control Panel to control which fields in the application can be altered and if the timeless option is available in the schedule dropdown. Configuration There has been a new tab added to the Global Settings in the Control Panel, named Sales. See below in Fig 2.1.

Fig 2.1 The top part of the form allows a separate setting for each enquiry type. The setting denotes that once an enquiry type is set against a member it cannot then be changed again. The second option on the form, Can not modify schedule by field relates to the Schedule By value on all scheduled activities, to dos and meetings. If this box is ticked the value cannot be altered once changed.

The final option, Disallow timeless activity removes the timeless value from the Time field when creating a new activity, to do or meeting. If existing timeless activities exist these are still permitted although if the activity is edited the timeless option will not be available. 3. Ref #114086 Solo/Maestro Changes In-line with the current banking changes Switch/Solo has been removed from the payment method. The BINs have also reallocation to the Maestro cards for authentication purposes.
