MINUTES OF THE TOWN OF NEWBOLD LAKES COMMITTEE FOR TUESDAY, MARCH 20, 2012 Rt.

47 and Apperson Drive, Rhinelander, WI 54501 1. Chairperson Scott Eshelman called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm.

2. In attendance: Paul Kuhn, Dale Larson, J.R. Bartelt, Jim Staskiewicz, Jeff Ewald. 3. The minutes of February 21, 2012 were approved as printed. 4. The following lake associations reported as follows: a. b. c. d. Flannery/Velvet Lakeall quiet on the western front Pickerel Lake--ditto Tom Doyle Lake reports that its ice is already out. Two Sisters Lake reports that its ice is almost out; the lake management committee expects to see a progress report in June and hopes to report to the full membership in August.

5. A lengthy discussion regarding Education Packets was held. The committee reviewed the potential documents for inclusion in the Education Packets. It was decided by consensus to substitute various shoreland education documents with the publication Living on the Edge, which can be obtained with a quantity discount of $3 per. It was also decided to limit distribution of the entire packet to Lakes Mildred and Flannery should those associations wish to participate. 6. A brief discussion of the Rapid Response Pamphlet was conducted. 7. On a motion by Jim Staskiewicz and a second by J.R. Bartelt the meeting was adjourned at 6:40 pm. The next meeting will be on April 17, 2012 at 5:30 pm. Respectfully submitted,
