I both installed and cracked and run Ansys V11 SP1 for XP SP2 32 and Vista Home Premium 32. All steps are similiar; but you have to walk as an administrator in every steps, in Vista. Deactivate (disable) UAC or rigtclick and run as asministrator or..

use this: Start a dos prompt (as admin) and write the following two lines in command prompt: net user administrator /active:yes exit ReStart your 2nd wife.. Follow these steps one by one; -Uninstall all existing Ansys installations -ReStart -Run setup for Ansys. -Is this a license server machine? Say No -Continue to configure this system to be a client system? Say Yes -Select 1 license server -Port:1055 -HostName: Run winhostid.exe and get your host name -UnCheck Take the ANSYS Survey -Continue to install license manager -Close everthing -Copy a110sp1_calc.exe on desktop -Run a110sp1_calc.exe - Do you want a license for current host? Say No (N) -Enter target host name: get it by running winhostid.exe -Enter target host ID (FlexID):get it by running winhostid.exe a110sp1_calc.exe will create license.dat file on desktop -Copy this license.dat file to folder C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing -Copy ansyslmd32.exe and lmgrd32.exe from DVD to folder C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\intel -Rename these files to ansyslmd.exe and lmgrd.exe -Run LMTOOLS Utility -Tab 1: Service License file; check to box LMTOOLS ignores license... -Tab 7: Config services; a. REMOVE all existing services b. Service Name: ansys c. Path to the lmgrd.exe file browse to C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\intel d. Path to the license file browse to C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing e. Check Use Services f. Check Start servive at power up g. SAVE service -Tab 4: Start/Stop/Reread Service; select ansysy and click Start Server -Tab 5: Server Status; Perform Status Enquiry If there is any expression includes Error; I don't know what to do? -Close LMTOOLS -ReStart -Run Ansys Product Launcher -Select License -Browse working Directory & Job Name -Click Run Thats all from me. To Harun... Thank you for detail explaination. I really apreciate it. I did follow step by sted as you mentioned However.. When I run a110sp1_calc.exe (after copied it on desktop) The window only show up and gone for around microsecond...I can not read nothing...it is too fast. I tried to run it in command prompt, it says 'the file is too big..bla..bla' I searched what it does mean..microsoft said: file is corrupted when it was downloading... I dont know what to do? Please anybody help me

Hi Doli; I realy do not have any idea about your problem. Run winhostid.exe get your hostname and flexid, write them to here. I will create a license.dat file; with a110sp1_calc.exe by using your inputs; and send this file to you. May be it will fit and work for your system. That is all I can do for you.

omg it is imposible for me. Im doing a final career proyect, and still cant work with autodyn. The LMTOLLS show me that I have 2 licences issus and 0 used, but when I load the product launcher it say me that I havent got product licenses. I am doing everything is posted, and none results. Im desesperate, please helppppp.

Hi After two weeks of working fine ansys do not want to start now, this message apears product:ansys multiphysics (feature'ane3fl') checkout failed for above product flexlm error message the desired vendor deamon is down (-97,121) servers/lisence files searched: 1055@comp (for additional licensing debug detail,set the ANS_FLEXLM_DEBUG environment to `1` before running this product.for maximum licensing debug details,set this environment variable to `2`.) What should I do? Can anyone help me?

Hi, When I install Ansys and follow with LMTOOLS, it asks for a .lic file in the license file and I supplement it with a .dat file..Is it ok?. and when i check server status, It is sayin an error that "Winsock- connection failed.".. Can anyone help me regarding this...

I'm running Vista as well, and when I try to run the LMTOOLS Utility I receive a message saying: "A working version of the FLEXIm LMTOOLS Utility is not available for this hardware platform at this time." I've gone through and done procedure twice with the same results. Any ideas??? Thanks for the help. -Cheers
