IS WAR INEVITABLE FOR FROZEN CONFLICTS?

NAGORNO KARABAGH CASE

ABSTRACT

Offered article studies the possibility of using force as a method of solution of frozen conflict, in the example of Nagorno Karabakh case. The main aim of the research is to analyze the reaction of Azerbaijan, suffered more than other part of conflict and lost 20 % of her territories, in the decision of using force through resolution of the dispute. The main theoretical approach of the article is based on the view that the prolongation of the resolution of the conflict increases the possibility of restart of the war.

War rhetoric used by the top officials, speed up of armament, intensification of military building, adoption of defense legislature of Azerbaijan are the main sources which were analyzed through the research process.
