ABSTRACT

The purpose of this dissertation is to assess the effectiveness of training and evaluation system in RWF. Training is a critical aspect and it is directly related to productivity. Soon after training is provided, it also becomes essential for the company to evaluate the training program. In order to collect information on all these (training and evaluation methods), a survey was conducted. The respondents of the survey were the employees and executives of RWF. The respondents were administered a well structured questionnaire, containing questions into the various training and evaluation techniques followed in RWF and other related aspects. The results of the questionnaire were tabulated. The tables and graphs culled out helped in understanding the results of the information gathered. The tables and graphs show that most popularly used methods of training are on-the-job and classroom lectures and widely used evaluation technique is feedback session.
