Abstract:
Study of Kinematics of athletes' movements is one of the commen means to get the expected
patterns of the movements. In this paper, results of the measurment and comparison of the
kinemaics parametrs of four karate techniques in two groups of experts and non-experts using
motion analysis are presented. First, markers located on the anatomical points were detected
using 2 camaras filming at the same time while one of the techniques (Souki, Zenkutsu Dachi,
Maee Gary, Oui Souki+Zenkutsu Dachi) were being performed. Then these kinematics data
were used to compare the thechniques between these two groups. As a result, it has been seen
that experts try to follow the basic rules more carefully than non-experts so that these results
can help the non-experts to promote considering the differences as a reference.
