Objective: To know whether the retailers are compliant on the various parameters such as location, illumination, purity, charging,

visi top charging and display of SKUs in accordance with companys planogram. Hypothesis The customers (Shop keepers) are at least 70% complaint across seven parameters. Research methodology Descriptive research design Natural Environment Observation (Mystery Shopper). Observation would be done on the planogram, Charging, Visitop Purity, visitop charging, purity, illumination and location. This would be noted in a sheet. The pretext of a story writer provides additional opportunity to take notes. Sampling methodology: Proportional Quota sampling based on concentration of customers in a region. (Combination of Judgment and convenience would be used in the quota sampling). The vast information available with Mr Manish would be used to gather information related to customers such as concentration- region wise. Then the sample points would be visited based on convenience. Sample frame: Total number of shopkeepers in Punjab who have been provided visicoolers. Sample size: 2-3 shopkeepers in regions with less concentration and 4-5 shopkeepers in highly concentrated regions. Sample Element: Visicooler in the store. Analysis used: Chi square test would be applied. A check list consisting of the seven factors and overall rating factor is prepared. From each shop observed percentage adherence to each parameter is noted. Chi square test (Test of Goodness of Fit) is performed across and within the factors. This would indicate the percentage compliance of each individual factor as well as the total overall factors. The percentage compliance to overall factor would be taken using a weighted average of 7 factors. The weights decided based on the judgment of Mr Manish. This information would be obtained by discussing with Mr Manish. Basic Assumptions in this research: Keen observation skills of the researcher and accuracy of observations are good. Weightage of all factors are same. Shopkeeper is not anticipating any such check in any form.
