Sexual Abuse! Fight Against it! I have come across plenty of cases of sexual abuse while counseling.

Children remain silent, the wound grows inside and at last either they become extra sensitive or they turn into a cold person. In front of me, many revealed their pain, cried a bucket, I could not help instead of biting my lips to prevent my tears at bay. I really wonder that where the hell humanity goes? Is it the same India, the land of incarnations? Children believe in fairy tales, who can be their savior? In most of the cases, people were one among the family members. On Sunday morning, May 13, 2012, Indias popular star Aamir Khan during the second episode of his TV show, Satyameya Jayate which means Truth Alone Wins, exposed successfully the best or worst kept secret against children in India child sexual abuse. Indian Rajya Sabha passed the pending bill Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Bill 2011. Indian government acted on this. Citizens have to earn courage to speak against it. Today I got up, grabbed newspaper in hand, what a coincident? I have encountered with an article When Teachers turn Tormentors written by Caroline Dcruz , Published in Delhi Times. Article highlighted many incidents where the teachers at college in India abused children. Listen to the scream of innocent child, not only had the one; every third girl among crown, every seventh children faced the situation of sexual abuse. Rate is so high; people among us are committing such offense. Few cases mentioned were, Drunk Primary School Teacher in Dev Chowk Village, MP, India forced his girl students to dance with him in a closed room. A class XI student of Rajkiya Sarvodaya Kanya Vidhyalay wrote to a lawyer activist that she had to massage her teachers hands and feet. Sankar-37 year old, married maths teacher of Ulundurpettai Government higher Secondary School in Villupuram, tamil Nadu Indai allegedly sexually assaulted a class 12th student on the premises of marriage. Sankars wife was away when he brought this girl and abandoned her after a few days.

In 2012, an 11 year old boy was sexually abused by the male teacher (age 25, Mahadhab Alam) near Anna Salai in Chennai. Not only that a four year old girl was sexually abused by women teachers and principle. It has increased only because people forgot ethics and moral values. I know it sounds silly and stupid. Do they really deserve to be considered as human? I think parents need to be more open with their children to talk about these matters. Correct and teach them as much as you can. My appeal from each and everyone, please stand against it, join hands. Promise to yourself, You shall never make any one suffer because of you. I shall get back to you with some new solutions, stories, cases and analyses. Take care.
