UTILITIES
PALM DISTRICT COOLING
Palm District Cooling (PDC) supplies chilled water to cool your apartment. The application procedure is set out below: 1. 2. Complete and sign two (2) copies of the Cooling Services Terms and Conditions PDC form. (available from NAM). Provide copies of the following documents: - Ownership Agreement/Sales Agreement - Copy of passport or trade licence Make the following payments - Non-refundable set-up fee for the BTU meter of AED 1,500. - Refundable security deposit: Studio & One Bedroom AED 1,000 Two Bedroom AED 2,000 - Annual Capacity Charge payment. One copy of the PDC service agreement will be returned to you along with a receipt for the security deposit. you will also receive your Customer Account Number.

DU
There is a centralized network provided within the building for the purpose of telephone/TV/Internet connectivity. There are multipurpose connection points provided in all the rooms. For connection, contact the service provider Du on 04 391 0000 and obtain information on the documentation required for obtaining the service. The Du office is located at the Dubai Media City, Building 14. Applicants can present the required documents to complete the joining formalities.

DEWA
Dubai Water and Electricity Authority (DEWA) is your water and electricity service provider. DEWA registration can be completed at the head office next to WAFI Mall. Apartment owners must visit DEWA and register their apartment/s, and pay a AED1,000 registration fee. Failure to register will result in disconnection. The following documents are required for DEWA registration: Application form (will be provided at time of handover). Photocopy of owners passport or Trade License of company. Copy of Property Sales Agreement Meter readings and consumption numbers (also provided at time of handover).

GAS
The building is supplied with a centralised LPG gas supply that connects to each apartment via concealed pipe work within the building. A gas cooker connection point is provided in every kitchen with an isolating valve in the upper kitchen cabinet. Lootah Gas is responsible for gas system maintenance, performing the initial connections for gas cooking, responding to relevant emergency situations inside the building and reading gas meters. To arrange a gas connection to your apartment you must deposit a cumulative amount of AED1,000 (AED500 refundable deposit, AED500 activation fee) in favour of Nakheel to the following account. Funds can be transferred to Dubai Islamic Bank, Account 01-520-6953379-05 Account Name: LBCG (Lootah BCGas) Copy of deposit slip to be faxed to LBCG Accounting at 04-297-7742 For connection, please contact: Lootah Gas All calls relating to live gas service should be directed to the LBCG Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-5224. This call centre is in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All calls of an emergency nature or any calls for gas service activation or account issues should be directed to this number. Note: Connection of the gas cooker is to be carried out by authorised personnel only. you are requested to call Lootah Gas for connection or disconnection on the toll free number 800 5224.
