of ihr (which is the saying of a man to his wife that you are to me
like my mothers back which is an old phrase of the Arabs that
involves making ones wife forever impermissible for ones self).

And breaking ones fast due to travel or the like of this is a licensed
exception (to the obligation of fasting) except for the situation where
a person fears for his/her own health (literally fears their own
destruction) or if a person at war fears that fasting would weaken
him to the point where it would affect his ability to fight. In this case
fasting is considered an azmah (or a self-imposed obligation).
