The Central Board Committee Chairpersons Appointment Act of 2012 Authored by: Gabriel Ignacio P. Alejo, President Whereas, the Sanggunian ng mga Mag-aaral ng mga Paaralang Loyola ng Ateneo de Manila is an institution founded on the principles of participatory democracy and representation1; Whereas, the Sanggunian ng mga Mag-aaral ng mga Paaralang Loyola ng Ateneo de Manila is an institution mandated to provide efficient and effective services towards the holistic formation of the Atenean; Whereas, the Sanggunian Central Board, appointed the different members of the eight Central Board Committees, namely the Committee on Academic Affairs (CAA), the Committee on Extracurricular Affairs (CEA), the Committee on Administrative Services (CAS), the Committee on Formation Services (CFS), the Committee on Ways and Means (CWM), the Committee on Rules (CoR), and the Committee on Constitutional Review (CCR), and Committee on Socio-Political Affairs (CSPA);2 Whereas, each Central Board Committee should appoint among themselves a Chairperson, which will shall then be confirmed by the Central Board;3 Wherefore, the Sanggunian Central Board hereby declares Ryan Carl Y. Yu, Sophomore Central Board Representative of the School of Management, as duly appointed Chairperson of the Central Board Committee on Academic Affairs (CAA); Wherefore, the Sanggunian Central Board hereby declares Felix Raphael G. Mintu, Junior Central Board Representative of the School of Humanities, as duly appointed Chairperson of the Central Board Committee on Extra-curricular Affairs (CEA); Wherefore, the Sanggunian Central Board hereby declares Alvin Jonathan P. Yllana, Senior Central Board Representative of the School of Management, as duly appointed Chairperson of the Central Board Committee on Administrative Services (CAS); Wherefore, the Sanggunian Central Board hereby declares Joben Mariz J. Odulio, Junior Central Board Representative of the School of Management, as duly appointed Chairperson of the Central Board Committee on Formation Services (CFS);

Wherefore, the Sanggunian Central Board hereby declares Billie Crystal G. Dumaliang, Finance Officer, as duly appointed Chairperson of the Central Board Committee on Ways and Means (CWM); Wherefore, the Sanggunian Central Board hereby declares Antonio Rafael N. Elicao, Senior Central Board Representative of the School of Humanities, as duly appointed Chairperson of the Central Board Committee on Rules (CoR); Wherefore, the Sanggunian Central Board hereby declares Francis Ian L. Agatep, Vice-President, as duly appointed Chairperson of the Central Board Committee on Constitutional Review (CCR); Wherefore, the Sanggunian Central Board hereby declares David Louis Augustus B. De Jesus, Sophomore Central Board Representative of the School of Social Sciences as duly appointed Chairperson of the Central Board Committee on Socio-Political Affairs (CSPA); Wherefore, be it further resolved that these appointed Chairpersons convene their respective committees at least once every two weeks or as often as necessary to discuss different concerns from the constituency that may be raised to the Central Board for further discussion and action;4 Wherefore, be it further resolved that the Chairpersonship for any Central Board Committee is not permanent and may be changed via a majority vote by the Central Board if the need arises; Wherefore, be it finally resolved that all of the aforementioned appointments and tasks will take effect upon approval of the Central Board via a majority vote.
