The following points could be discussed under this topic: Nature of coalition politics. Indecisiveness of elections. No particular party is getting the peoples mandate. Advantage of coalition politics in enabling formation of government. Flipside of coalition politics- a party with a handful of seats become powerful. Government falls before tenure. Fresh elections each time. Suggest a way out of this problem, for e.g.: once a party pledges support to a coalition, it will not withdraw its support until it has watched a governments performance for at least three years...etc The future -will it only have coalitions ,emerging political trends...etc... Total time for written test is 2 hours 10 minutes. In HCL interface, we doesnt go back to previous question. no negative marks. Quantitative: 1. x=(1+2)^(1/2) y=(1-2)^(1/2) therefore x^2 +y^2=? 2. log5(0.008)= n log5(2^-3) therefore n=? 3. 2A=3B 4B=5C. then A : C=? 4. a=16, b=25 therefore 1/(a^1/2-a^-1/2)=? 5. 2^x+y=2*(2)^1/2 2^x-y=2^1/2 Therefore value of x and y=? 6. ----------(-) 5a^2-3ab+7b^2=a^2+ab+b^2. 7. TCS placement paper pattern :

TCS placement paper pattern : It is a written test of objective type. There are 4 sections divided as verbal, Quantitative aptitude, Reading comprehension & Psychometric test. Interview : Those who clears this written test are called for interview. It is of kinds technical & HR interview. The technical interview is highly specialized and covers almost all subjects you have done in your curriculum. However one is required to name his/her favorite subject on which most of the interview is focused. The HR interview which follows the technical interview is very general. The HR interview is also important. Mostly questions are asked to test your temperament. TCS placement paper pattern : by http://placement-papers-mncs.blogspot.com

2011 TCS placement papers interview pattern Hello friends.. My self Rucha , I am studying in KKWIEER , Nashik.TCS came to our college on 3rd Jan 2010.They have select total 22 students from all branches n among them 7 are from computer dept. and I am ONE in them . Their are total 3 round: 1. Aptitude test (Online). 2. Technical interview . 3. HR interview. But the worst part in this is, they have selected only 10 for next round i.e. technical interview students from all 120 student who appear for aptitude test and 5 toppers from all the branches get direct entry to the technical interview. But I am glad to say that I CRACK aptitude. My advice to all who want to join the DREAM group TATA is, please at least try to get first class that is minimum 60 % throughout. Because their criteria are minimum 60%, I was just above 60%because my percentage was 60.95. Ok guys now focus on study. Aptitude Test: Please refer R.S. Aggarwal book for topics like problems on ages , chain rule ,percentage, profit & loss, chain rule, time & work, boat & streams, clock, odd man out series. Try to solve all problems. It will definitely helpful to you. TCS has one software touchstone for conducting test. It is having collection of around 1 to 2 lacks questions. So pattern of all questions are much same. So please first of all understand pattern of each company. There are total 35 questions and 80 min. But questions are consist of very useless data , so it is our job to remove all stuff and jus extract imp info for solving the problem.

Echina grows in the form of circle, and the relationship between the diameter of this circle and the age of echina is given by the formula d = 4* (t-9) for t 9 where d represents the diameter in mm and t the number of years since the solar blast. Jagan recorded the radius of some echina at a particular spot as 7mm. How many years back did the solar blast occur? a) 17 b) 21.25 c) 12.25 d) 14.05 8. The goal is to bring the gold coin to the top by repeatedly moving the topmost coin to another position in the stack. Alice starts and the players take turns. A turn consists of moving the coin on the top to a position i below the top coin (0 i 20). We will call this an i-move (thus a 0-move implies doing nothing). The proviso is that an i-move cannot be repeated; for example once a player makes a 2-move, on subsequent turns neither player can make a 2-move.If the gold coin happens to be on top when it's a player's turn then the player wins the game. Initially, the gold coins the third coin from the top. Then:A) In order to win, Alice's first move should be a 0-move. B) In order to win, Alice's first move can be a 0-move or a 1-move. Latest TCS Placement paper Fresher Interview Pattern 12, January 2011 Hi Friends. I have appeared for TCS on campus on 12th January at GNIT along with other 1300 students (JIS + Narula+ GNIT) .TCS had previously (in the month of December) given away their Demo paper to many

colleges and we were no exception. We practiced them repeatedly. On the day of the aptitude test we found that each & every question in the aptitude was from those papers given previously by TCS. We were very happy, we answered around 28(correct) on an avg. I personally answered 30(correct), could have answered >32 but didnt due to the fear of uppercut off. In general cases it remains (lower cutoff 18 & upper cutoff >32).But Eventually when results were out. SET : 3 1. Alok and Bhanu play the following min-max game. The existence of mammals on the earth can be traced back to at least the Triassic time. The rate of development was retarded, till evolutional change suddenly accelerated in the oldest Paleocene. This resulted in an increase in average size, larger mental capacity, and special adaptations for different modes of life, during the Eocene time. Further improvement was seen during the Oligocene Epoch, with the appearance of some new lines and extinction of others. The Miocene and Pliocene times are especially significant as they mark the culmination of various groups and a continued approach toward modern characters. It is in the Miocene time that the mammals reached their peak with reference to variety and size. The ability of the mammals to adapt to various modes of life finds a parallel in the reptiles of the Mesozoic time, and apart form their greater intelligence, the mammals apparently have not done much better than the corresponding reptilian forms. Undoubtedly the bat is a better flying animal than the pterosaur, but at the same time the dolphin and whale are hardly more fish like than the ichthyosaur. Quite a few of the swift-running

mammals inhabiting the plains, like the horse and the antelope, must excel any of the dinosaurs. Although the tyrannosaur was a more weighty and robust carnivore than perhaps any carnivorous mammal, the lion and the tiger, by virtue of their superior brain are far more efficient and dangerous beasts of prey. It is significant to note that various species of mammals gradually adapted themselves to various kinds of lifestyles, some took to grazing on the plains and were able to run swiftly (horse, deer, bison), others started living in rivers and swamps (hippopotamus, beaver), inhabiting trees (sloth, monkey), burrowing underground (rodent, mole), feeding on flesh (tiger, wolf), swimming in the water (dolphin, whale, seal), and flying in the air (bat). Human beings on account of their superior brain have been able to harness mechanical methods to conquer the physical world and adapt to any set of conditions. Such adaptation to different conditions leads to a gradual change in form and structure. This is a biological characteristic of the youthful, plastic stage of a group. It is seen that early in its evolutional cycle animals possess the capacity for change, but as the animal progresses in its cycle becoming old and fixed, this capacity for change disappears. The generalized types of organisms retain longest the ability to make adjustments when required, and it is from them that new, fecund stocks take origin-certainly not from any specialized end products. With reference to mammals, we see their birth, plastic spread in many directions, increased specialization, and in some cases, extinction; this is a characteristic of the evolution of life, which can be seen in the geologic record of life. 11.
