Home-style Mexican food is a winner at Rudys

udys Gourmet Mexican Cuisine offers food just like mother used to make. That is, of course, if your mom hails from Mexico. Located near the intersection of Stanford Ranch Road and Sunset Boulevard, this familyrun, family-friendly restaurant features authentic Mexican cuisine made from scratch using fresh ingredients. The menu lists specialties such as huaraches, alambres, and tortas alongside the more familiar burritos, tamales, and tostadas. Rudys also offers a selection of homemade soups and delectable salads. Some of the specialties are from Mexico things that you dont see in a lot of other restaurants, said restaurant owner and chef Rudy Granados. Rocklin customer Amber Wong is partial to the rustic chicken tortilla soup, made using a recipe used by Rudys grandmother. The chicken tortilla soup is the best! Its healthy and yummy, she said. Every time we get sick, we have to get the chicken tortilla soup to make us get well. Roseville resident Missy Okelberry likes to bring her family and friends to Rudys because she finds it more authentic than other big name chain restaurants. We love bringing our family here.
