Admin exercises: To make sure we start with a clean testbed environment the trainer will reset your test

device and remove user profile and terminal information from SADM. Dont start the exercises until this has been done.

1. Preparing your rulecard and test device log in with your administrator user Create a WAP Gateway setting with a unique name (Bearer: GPRS, Address: your_APN_name) Type: Bearer WLAN INFRA(structure mode) SSID: HTC-Hotspot WPA2 key: training create a subscriber group with a single MSISDN: your test MSISDN create a rule card, add your subscriber group Activate the Default scenario, add a Setting Provisioning action, select your WAP setting, optionally add some text to notification, confirmation or invitation message box. activate session for your test MSISDN at the right side and add device with its IMEI (*#06#)) (if not there yet) 2. Helpdesk UI provisioning test your rule card by sending the setting to the device (Device Management/Send Service Settings) 1. Send the HTC-Hotspot setting to your device and save it, if asked set it as default setting

2. Save the setting in the device and answer yes if it is offered to be set as the default setting. You will need this WAP setting to connect to the internet later. 3. Application Management "Application Packages": upload test app. SADMDelivery.jar from ~ntms/sate/AppDownload/ (or a smaller Symbian application package that you downloaded from the internet, just make sure it will be compatible with your device Optionally: install some other applications on the device manually activate "Application management bootstrap" scenario choose Security method: SADM create custom scenario, choose "Application install" action Interaction level: Low download method: SADM DM client or Text SMS "Device Provisioning": select your new scenario after the application has been installed: "Application Management": Scan Device, then for SADM_test_app choose action START

5. Device Wipe in scenario "Enable device security": set Security method: SADM Test: "Device Security" menu item: press Enable Device Security after installation: answer yes for starting the application (no for other questions) press "Wipe Device"

6. Android provisioning in scenario "Connectivity bootstrap ": select your original WAP setting, select Default as language create an MMS setting and a new custom scenario with setting provisioning action with the new MMS setting In the setup make sure the installation for non-Market applications is allowed Turn on the Wifi and select HTC-Hotspot, password: training Test your setup by sending the MMS setting to the Android device (dont follow the manual instructions you receive, use the Wifi connection instead)
