Introduction
Malla Reddy Engineering College a premier institute in Andhra Pradesh was established by Sri.Ch.Malla Reddy in the year 2002 in a sprawling campus of 10 acres as a part of the reputed CMR Educational Society and has been pioneer in imparting quality technical education and mission for eminence in research with social relevance. The college offers fours year B.Tech programming in ECE, CSE, CSIT, EEE,CIVIL and, MECH. It also offer PG Courses MBA,MCA and Five M.Tech Courses in Structural Engg,Thermal Engg ,Control Engg, Control Systems and DSCE. The college is NBA accredited and also accredited with NAAC A Grade. The college obtained autonomous status from academic year 2011.This college ensured TEQUIP from WORLDBANK in year 2011. About ECE Dept: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering established in 2002.The department is supported by 30 teaching faculty members having M.Tech/M.E. qualification and some are having Phds and experience in academic, industrial and R&D too. The department is having sophisticated laboratories to cater the needs of not only JNTU curriculum but also for present day needs. This year we established nano technology R&D lab in collaboration with IACQER, DELHI. The department has NBA accredited. The department has got and approval for M.Tech (Digital Systems & Computer electronics) from AICTE during the academic year 2008 with an intake of 18 seats. In 2010 the intake for M.Tech had increased from 18 to 36. The B.Tech students graduated with 80% results and well settled in Multi National Companies.
