Genova Nano - 3 in 1 spectrophotometer Micro-volume, Life Science & Standard Spectrophotometer in one package This highly anticipated spectrophotometer incorporates Jenway's Microvolume accessory with the dedicated life science measurement modes of the Genova Plus along with those of a standard spectrophotometer. This makes the Genova Nano Jenway's first 3 in 1
spectrophotometer. The Genova Nano measures small sample volumes as low as 0.5l with a high degree of accuracy, reproducibility and speed. Its ability to measure small sample volumes, conserves precious samples, reduces the need for dilutions and eliminates the requirement for cuvettes. Cleaning is quick and simple; wiping the read heads with a microfibre cloth removes all trace of the sample, allowing faster change over between samples and therefore increasing sample throughput. Key Features Ideal for DNA, RNA and Protein measurements only 0.5l sample volume required Easy and quick to clean Detects DNA concentrations as low as 2ng/l Method and result saving to USB memory stick
Flame Photometer
Jenway is the world leader in Flame Photometer production, with our simple, easy-to-use models found in many thousands of laboratories all round the globe. This interference free method of measuring Sodium (Na), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Lithium (Li) and Barium (Ba) is common in the food processing and feed industries, for agricultural, dairy and wine analysis, in chemical and petrochemical processing, in the drinks industry, in environmental and water analysis, cement, mineral and ore processing and many more... A key area of application is in the clinical laboratory where flame photometers have traditionally been used for the measurement of electrolytes in serum, plasma, urine and other body fluids. The Models PFP7 and PFP7/C are low temperature, single channel flame photometers designed for the routine determinations of Na & K (Ca, Ba and Li optional). With in-built automatic flame failure detection for user safety these products can be used with Propane, butane, LPG or natural gas, an optional compressor is also available where a clean air supply is not available. The Model PFP7/C is specifically designed for use in clinical applications. The in-built lineariser circuitry enables readings of both Na and K at the normal clinical serum concentrations to be displayed directly in mmol/l. Serum samples must be diluted prior to
presentation to the flame photometer. The Series 7 diluter is available to enable this to be carried out efficiently and accurately.

The Agilent 7100 Capillary Electrophoresis system can be interfaced directly to any of the Agilent 6000 Series MS systems with no positional adjustments and with full single-point control of CE and MS. The 7100 CE system can also be interfaced with the 7500 Series ICP-MS.
fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometer, in-line for photovoltaic industryISO 3497, ASTM B568, DIN 50987
X-Strata980 is a cost-effective solution for the process and quality control of thin-film photovoltaic cells. It is a high performance, micro-spot, bench-top energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer for the determination of multi-layer coating thickness and composition analysis on small analysis areas. It conforms to test methods ISO 3497, ASTM B568 and DIN 50987. The system has as its source of excitation a field-proven, 100-watt, Oxford Instruments micro-focus X-ray tube, and is fitted with a high-performance, peltier-cooled Si-PIN-diode detector. This combination provides outstanding precision and low limits of detection, even at short measurement times. Coating thickness and composition results are obtained within seconds. There is no sample preparation required. It is simply a question of placing the sample in the X-Strata's large analysis chamber, use the focus laser to achieve the correct focal distance, and click on the 'Go' button to start the measurement. It enables rapid analysis of layer thickness and composition of the cells and can be part of a pass/fail decision process, ensuring that produced parts meet specification, thereby providing the required efficiency of conversion of solar energy into electricity.
The MDX1000 is a powerful simultaneous multi-element Wavelength Dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WDXRF) analyzer for rapid, reliable process control. It is robustly built and compact and is equally at home in a laboratory or on the production site. The MDX1000 conforms to many international specifications, e.g. ASTM D2622 specification for the rapid determination of sulfur in oil. For liquids analysis a unique customer replaceable secondary safety window ensures instrument protection in the event of sample leakage, leading to high reliability with low running costs. For the analysis of cement, minerals etc the samples in the form of pressed powders are simply loaded into Oxford Instruments sample cells, placed into the MDX1000 and measured. "Live Results Updates" - simultaneous multi-element concentrations, are displayed after just five seconds of measurement allowing a rapid assessment of the production process to be made. The MDX1000 uses a field proven X-ray tube giving years of trouble free operation, which combined, with the use of fixed element monochromators (i.e. no moving parts) gives high long term reliability. It's unique and easy to use software allows operation by both laboratory and production staff giving total 24/7 confidence.
Microplate nephelometerNEPHELOstar
The NEPHELOstar Plus microplate nephelometer detects insoluble particles in liquid samples by measuring forward scattered light. It uses a laser beam that is directed through the solution and it can detect the scattered light at angles of up to 80 degrees. The NEPHELOstar Plus can be up to thirty times more sensitive than traditional transmission readers that measure the reduction in direct light passing through a sample well via optical density. The intensity and beam diameter of the laser light can be adjusted in the easy to use software, and this allows measurement of light scatter in colored or turbid solutions. In addition, the flexible beam diameter allows measurement in 6 - 384-well microplate
format. Temperature-regulated heating plates above and below the entire plate movement area provide uniform incubation up to 45C. These features, along with BMG LABTECH\'s Digital Photon Integration (DPI) technology and a detection angle of 80, ensure that the NEPHELOstar Plus nephelometer is approximately thirty times more sensitive than conventional transmission readers. Developed to meet high-throughput demands, this microplate-based nephelometer is faster than conventional solubility detection methods with the highest possible sensitivity and flexibility.

Highly reliable results Patented UFsweeper technology accelerates ions out of the collision cell by forming a pseudo-potential surface. The result is high-efficiency collision-induced dissociation (CID) and ultra-fast ion transport, reducing sensitivity losses and cross talk observed on other systems. In addition, higher radio frequency (RF) power capability minimizes pauses between each transition. When coupled with Shimadzu's Nexera UHPLC, the LCMS-8030 can provide reliable and accurate detection of peaks just one-second wide, thereby maximizing UHPLC performance. With a polarity switching time of just 15 ms, ultra-fast triple quadrupole measurement time is now a reality.
